01Agreement
These Terms of Use ("Terms") apply to hearthasnolimitfoundation.com and the Foundation's curriculum, videos, workbooks, surveys and related services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.
02Who can use the curriculum
The website is open to everyone. To use the curriculum:
- If you're 18 or older, you can use the curriculum for yourself. Adults answer the same surveys as students (the surveys don't ask for a name, email or phone).
- If you're under 18, you can take part only through a participating school or organization. Depending on the program, your school authorizes it or your parent or guardian gives permission through the organization.
If you're a parent or guardian, you agree to these Terms for your child and are responsible for their use of the Services.
03Organizations
Schools, clubs, teams and other organizations agree to use the curriculum under our Curriculum License Agreement and to handle parent or guardian permission or school authorization. If these Terms conflict with that agreement, the agreement controls for that organization and its participants.
04Access codes
Access codes are personal. Don't share your code or use someone else's. Facilitators must keep their group's codes confidential. Tell us right away if you think a code has been misused.
We may turn off an access code or end someone's access if these Terms are broken or a code is misused.
05Not therapy or medical care
The curriculum is for education and personal growth. It is not therapy, counseling, medical treatment or a substitute for professional mental health care. We don't diagnose, treat or prevent any medical, psychological or emotional condition. Participation is voluntary. Anyone dealing with serious emotional distress should talk with a licensed mental health professional, a doctor or a trusted adult. If someone is in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
You can also text HOME to 741741 to reach the Crisis Text Line.
06Personal use
Individuals may use the curriculum for their own personal, non-commercial use, and parents may use it with their own children. You may not sell, license, rebrand, republish or distribute the curriculum, videos, workbooks or surveys, or use them to run a program for others, without a written agreement with us.
07Who owns the content
The curriculum, videos, workbooks, surveys, the HEART HAS NO LIMIT name and Foundation logos, and all other content on the Services belong to Heart Has No Limit Foundation, Inc. or its licensors, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. HEART HAS NO LIMIT is a registered trademark of Heart Has No Limit Foundation, Inc. These Terms don't give you any ownership rights.
08Your survey answers
When you or your child answer a survey, you give us permission to use the answers, in coded or de-identified form, to evaluate and improve the curriculum and report combined results, as described in the Privacy Policy.
09Rules of use
You agree not to:
- give false information, including a false age, or sign up a minor without real parent or guardian consent
- interfere with or try to break the Services' security
- scrape, copy or collect data from the Services
- use the Services to harass anyone or for anything illegal

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the full agreement between you and us about the Services, except where an organization's license agreement controls (Section 3). We may update these Terms and will post the new version here with a new effective date. If you keep using the Services after that, you accept the changes.
